MBG Certified Natural Trainer Course

A complete training framework for creating full range of motion, developing functional strength, and progressing to powerful athletic movements.

This 2-day course is designed to provide you with a solid understanding of our athletic and active alignment training.

In today’s world, people try to segment movement… segment nutrition… segment alignment training. By not connecting each part, it gets to be overwhelming to a person’s mind and body.

For the last 20 years has been teaching students the basics of all movement patterns…running, jumping, crawling, climbing and reacting. The way that we teach these principles is the way that the body naturally gravitates towards. Learn how to build yourself from the ground up with a solid foundation. From aligning the body in the correct manner to slowly progressing skills to higher and higher levels.

This 2-day course is designed to provide you with a solid understanding of our athletic and active alignment training..  Whether you are looking to become a trainer or just want to take your own knowledge to the next level, this course will give you an in-depth guide to Monkey Bar Gym philosophy, theory and methods.

  • Clear explanations of exercises and why we use them
  • Clear explanations of the different levels and progressions of exercises
  • Perform the foundational exercises safely and identify misalignments
  • Identify and correct misalignments when training others.
  • Practical applications for your own training
  • How to teach others and lead classes

1. Learn to align and refine your baseline movements.

When misalignments are not addressed, the body begins to compensate.  Over time, this compensation creates greater and greater stresses throughout the body, eventually leading to tightness, strains and tears.  Our unique BASE and Eischens Yoga will teach you how to actively align your body to develop complete control through a full range of motion.

2. Progressing correct alignment through greater range of motion

Once you have learned to address the basic misalignments, we can begin to increase range of motion and add movement. This includes progressing from a basic deep squat into an overhead squat, maintaining stable hips during a step back lunge, eliminating compensation in the lower back in the during pull-ups and more.

3. Adding strength and then speed to proper movement

The next step is to begin perfecting our movement skills including Running, Jumping, Climbing and Crawling.    You will also learn how to use kettlebells to supplement your athletic training with Deadlift, Swing, Clean, Front Squat, Push Press and Snatch.

4. How we apply each exercise to all levels of people.

One of the most important aspects of training yourself or clients is being able to adapt an exercise to their level.  You will learn how to use the “SSU to DUL” principle to to modify every exercise and workout no matter if your client is a complete beginner or high level athlete.

5. Learn ‘how’ to teach others our exercises, workouts with an understanding of our MBG Undulating Periodization programming.

You will come out of the course with an understanding of how to run successful classes, how to interact with students and take command of the room.  Everyone who wishes to be certified will be tested in practical teaching situations.

There is a lot of information to cover, so in order to make the most of the course you are expected to come with an understanding of some of the basics.

“It was a phenomenal experience. Besides going over all the moves we really went in depth into how just setting the body and aligning it correctly and then moving just an inch can work. You so much more than a full movement done incorrectly ever could and that was just phenomenal eye-opener for me about every position and going forward I’ll always keep that in mind working at that and it’s gonna make all the full range of motion movements much, much stronger, so thank you guys so much.”

“I took the course because I wanted to learn more about my fitness and alignment training and I grew a lot. I learned to do pushups better. And I really found a lot of things I was doing wrong with my form. That kinda rechanged how I thought about working out and my goals with what I wanna accomplish with my fitness.”
